These Bida glass blue trade beads originated form the city of Bida in Nigeria ..these tube glass beads were of great significance as currency and trade items in West Africa.
Originally formed by heating a glass rod and wrapping it around metal wire before cooling and cutting it.
Famous for the vibrant sky blue shape they pair perfectly with cool tones of silver and slightly warmer notes in the gold beads, the half moons are made for handcut circles which in turn are heated to pre-melting point until the desired texture is reached - reticulation.
This necklace measures 16" in length.

Shipping + Returns
- Upon receiving your order, there will be a standard three (3) to four (4) day turnaround for creation and preparation before shipping. This period allows us to handcraft and prepare your unique item.
- No Returns (Exclusions Apply): Due to the custom, handcrafted nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns for refund unless the item is deemed faulty.
